The saying 개와 늑대의 시간 comes from the French saying “L'heure entre chien et loup” or 'The hour between dog and wolf', which means 'twilight' or 'dusk' when one cannot tell apart the silhouette of a dog and a wolf. The saying also symbolises the blurred line between two opposite things, such as daylight and night-time, light and dark, friend and foe, hope and despair.

4. While this is a personal interpretation, this song feels like a possible expansion, or an alternative take on the concept of Icarus's wings and his flight towards the sun. In the song Boy With Luv, RM's verse has the following lyrics:

While Icarus flight towards the sun and his fall have been shown in BTS's older concepts, such as the Blood Sweat & Tears music video, the take on Icarus and his flight was different in Boy With Luv. Maybe this song is a take on the concept that merges the original concept and the alternate take (BTS flying towards the fans and not the sun) into one.
